The place for everyone.
Wake up on the South Fork. Cook in the pavilion. Hike the Collegiate Peaks. Downtown Salida is five minutes away — and forty-two sites mean the whole family fits, whatever they arrived in.
On the property
More than a place to park.
Water
The river and two ponds
The South Fork runs the length of the property, with sites right on the bank. Big Pond and Little Pond sit in the meadow below. No swimming or wading in the ponds.
Gather
Pavilion and six fire rings
A covered pavilion in the meadow, six fire rings, and three group tent areas. The pavilion is open to guests when it isn't booked for an event.
Kids
Climbing wall and open grass
A climbing wall by the west fire ring and a lot of room to run. Speed limit is 5 mph everywhere, because children are usually in it.
Facilities
Bath house, showers included
Showers and restrooms on the west end of the upper property. Registered guests only; the host gives you the door code at check-in. Water and Wi-Fi are included on every site, at no extra charge.
Long stays
Honey wagon
Free once a week for anyone staying seven nights or more. You'll need to be there to hook up your rig. Monthly sites are metered for electricity and billed separately.
Rates
From $40 a night
Tent sites $40, back-in $50, pull-thru $60, riverside $75 — for two people, everything above included. See the full rate table.
